Too often, as a foster & adoptive family, you struggle with behaviors in your children stemming from grief, loss, and trauma. This can leave you feeling misunderstood, isolated, incompetent & frustrated. Love Moves.Us provides community, support and encouragement to these families and gives you an opportunity to show them you love & support them as well.
We’re not all called to foster or adopt, but we all can do something.

Meet Our Founders

Jason & Cheryl Bentsen are adoptive parents to two beautiful children and grew up in the Chicago area. They met at Judson University in Elgin, IL. Cheryl received her degree in elementary education and Jason received his degree in youth ministry and adolescent studies. They have always had a love for children. After spending time in ministry with Youth For Christ, helping plant churches, leading children’s and youth ministries, and considering planting a church on their own, they felt called to start a ministry to meet the needs of the foster and adoptive community while educating, engaging and equipping churches. They reside in Joliet, IL.
