We were so excited to hear that Josh & Courtney had made the decision to foster! We expected that a child would be placed in their home but imagine our surprise when we heard there would be a pair of sisters joining the family!
Tim and I were invited by Courtney to be there when the girls arrived that Saturday morning almost 3 years ago. We loved them from the moment our teary eyes saw them and never expected the girls would have our hearts so quickly!
The hardest part was watching Josh & Courtney face all the challenges of the birth mom still being involved and so broken. We all prayed for her healing but God had his own plan.
The best part was being blessed with 2 beautifully perfect granddaughters and seeing how much it filled and healed Josh and Courtney's hearts. Almost 2 years later the girls were adopted and their family was finally complete. They have the best big brothers who loved their sisters from day one.
We never thought of the girls as foster children, we loved them as our own from the start.
