Kim & Dirk recently drove more than an hour to get to one of our Family Gatherings. Being working parents with Kim working overnights is already a challenge.
Add in 3 kids – ages 3, 2 and 1 (1 in foster care), no family in the area to help, and parenting becomes even more challenging.

This meets one of the biggest needs of all the families we serve! The mother in the family who will be receiving these services said, “This is an answer to prayer! I’m going to cry!”
We’re exploring opportunities to serve and support families through some new paradigms:
● Anchor Sites all over Chicagoland
● Piloting a Community Center to go deep in serving regional needs
● Providing a simple, customizable blueprint to starting more Family Gatherings
● Partnering with therapists to serve children at Family Gatherings
