What the shade of your skin is
What color your hair is
What your voice and laugh will sound like
What your hugs will feel like
What memories we will be a part of
Being role models for you
Loving you unconditionally
Helping you be the best YOU
What your dreams are
What you’ll be when you grow up

I dream about:
Meeting you
Introducing you to your siblings
Bringing you home
Making you feel safe
Decorating your bedroom
Introducing you to your new extended family
What activities you will do
Starting school
Learning to drive
Taking you to Disney

I've been waiting for about 16 months for you:
Waiting for the word that we have been officially accepted to be yours
Waiting to meet you
Waiting to hear your voice
Waiting to comfort you
Waiting to make you feel safe
Waiting to dream with you!

What I know:
You are loved
You are seen
You are known by your creator
You can do hard things
You are strong
You are wanted
You are not alone
You are safe

We will both have hard days - together we will make it through.
I will fight for you and with you.

What we have is now is faith. Faith that I can be your forever Mom.
Faith that you will strive to be the best YOU that you can be.
Faith that whatever comes our way, we have each other to get us through.
Faith that the courage you have shown will continue to take you to brave places.

Faith that God knows the full plan for our family and His plan includes you in it!

Michele & her family are waiting to bring their newest daughter home in a few weeks! After a long journey through many ups & downs, God has placed a teenage girl in a forever family! They are beyond excited and she will join a family with 2 married adult siblings & 2 siblings at home, dogs & lots of love!
